TRAVEL CONTRACT


1- The travel contract described herein is governed by the International Travel Convention signed in Brussels on 23 April 1990, according to which cancellations, changes and replacements of reservations for reasons attributable to the passenger or the Agency are subject to penalties. Cancellations, changes and replacements of reservations for unforeseen reasons or force majeure, such as those arising from natural or social phenomena, shall be governed by the provisions contained in this contract.
  2-General Reservations
  Acceptance of reservations by DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU shall be subject to the availability of means of transport, accommodation and operators, which shall be confirmed to the traveller through a final confirmation.
  3- Organized tours and accommodation
  The itineraries will be worked out with the traveler's help and with great care, although for operational reasons it may be necessary to change the order of the itinerary's activities due to force majeure, such as: natural disasters, social problems: strikes, etc., which in many cases the means of transport as well as the operators of the area to be visited are completely paralyzed and affected in these unexpected cases. The Operations department will be carrying out these changes together with the help of the Operators and the traveler.
    4-Validity of Contingencies
  Changes may occur that cause modifications, for example, taxes on airports or tourist services in general. If the modifications cause the cost to the traveler to increase by more than 10% of the agreed amount, the traveler may always cancel the contract without penalty, and when you notify DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU in writing within a period of 48 hours after receiving notification of the modification. Otherwise, it will be considered that the traveler agrees to the modification(s). (is).
  5-Modifications to Reservations
  Any modification requested by the traveler must be made at least 30 business days (individual travelers) 60 days (Groups) before the start of the trip, otherwise DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU reserves the right to accept or reject the requested modification according to the availability of the tourism companies provided: Accommodations, Tour Operators and means of tourist transport. Changes to reservations will not be accepted from 15 business days before the date of travel.   DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU may replace part of the itinerary or hotels with others of the same category for reasonable reasons. However, if DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU is unable to provide the traveler with an essential part of the services or provide alternative solutions at no cost to the traveler, or if the services are of inferior quality to those originally offered, the traveler will be adequately compensated.
  6- Traveler Replacement – ​​Accommodation and Organized Tours
  A traveler who is unable to complete the itinerary for personal reasons or illness may be replaced by another traveler, provided that notice is given at least 15 business days before the start of the trip. Please note that this regulation may only be applied to accommodation and tours, but will not apply to the Inca Trail service, air tickets, train tickets and bus tickets, which may only be used by the original traveler. Otherwise, the new traveler will have to bear the costs, in some cases, of penalties for a name change or full payment for the service again.
  7- Cancellations: Hotels and Package Tours
  Cancellations and Refunds:
All cancellation notices must be sent in writing including all pertinent information and will be responded to within 24 hours by the Operations department. *If cancellation is received up to 30 business days prior to the traveler's arrival date, the travel deposit will be fully refundable minus a $15 administrative fee. *If cancellation is received between 29 and 16 business days prior to the traveler's arrival date, the right will be reserved to retain half of the deposit minus a $15 administrative fee. *No refunds will be issued after 15 business days prior to the travel date.
  Group Cancellation
  For group reservations, notice must be given 60 business days in advance of the date. Upon arrival of the group From 59 to 31 business days, the right will be reserved to retain half of the deposit. No refunds will be issued within 30 days.
  Arrival of the group
  *Please note that each return will have a $15 administrative fee deducted. The refund of “air tickets” or means of tourist transport such as “train” will be subject to the refund policy of the respective service provider. Please be advised that there will be no refund of any kind if the trip is prevented due to lack of or irregularity in the traveler's personal documents, such as: identity cards, passport, vaccinations, etc.
  8-Inca Trail Cancellations:
  The cancellation policy to which the Inca Trail service is subject is the strictest of the entire traveler's contract, said regulation depends and is subject only to the National identity of the National Institute of Culture “INC” and the direct Operators that have authority and control of it. DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU is subject to the availability that the Inca trail operator and the INC offer. Travelers are informed that, after having accepted the agreed date and payment for the Inca Trail service, they will not be able to make any type of modification, such as: changing the date, changing the passport, replacing passengers, or canceling for any reason. Personal impediment, etc. DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU will not be able to make any type of refund for the concepts indicated above. Any modification or cancellation must be brought to the attention of the Operations Department for registration and response to the traveler, within 24 hours of receipt of the request. During the high season period, DELIGH TRAVEL PERU reserves the right to change cancellation policies, based on the restrictions and penalties of suppliers of air tickets, hotels and other services.
  9- Responsibility
  DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU organizes on behalf of our travelers, planning with their name the means of transport, accommodation or other necessary tourist services, therefore it is not responsible in case of accidents, loss of personal belongings, delays or interferences in the tour for reasons of force majeure. or events that do not directly involve our responsibility, especially with regard to programs and schedules provided by tourist intermediaries. DELIGHT TRAVEL PERU is not responsible for illnesses, pregnancies or physical or mental disabilities that may put the health or integrity of the traveler or third parties at risk during the development of the tour. No claims or refunds will be recognized for the above mentioned concepts. . We ask that you inform us of any limitations of this nature before contracting our services, so that we can recommend specific services that take into account the existing impediments. If any inconvenience occurs with the services, you must inform us of the facts within 24 hours after the event occurs. After this time we will not accept any type of complaint.
    10- Traveler Documentation
  Delight Travel Peru recommends that travelers present their personal documentation duly updated: correct names, valid passports, etc. to avoid problems when arriving at the destination.
  11- Social Events
  Delight Travel Peru is not responsible in the event of an event such as strikes or demonstrations in the city where you are visiting, in this case we will do our best to help you and see how to find alternatives for this so that you can be safe and continue with your itinerary.
