DAY 3 – Flight from Lima to Cusco
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Lima airport for your flight to Cusco, the ancient

Day 4 – City tour Cusco (Half Day)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin a cultural tour of the historic city of Cusco, the
former capital of the Inca Empire and one of South America's most iconic destinations. During
this visit, you will appreciate the extraordinary fusion of Inca and colonial architecture that
characterizes the city.
The first stop will be at Qorikancha, known as the Temple of the Sun. This was one of the most
important religious centers of the Inca Empire, where the god Inti was worshipped.
Next, we will continue to the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, located in the upper part
of the city. This archaeological complex is notable for its enormous blocks of stone carved with
great precision, some of which weigh over one hundred tons, demonstrating the extraordinary

The tour continues to the archaeological site of Qenqo, an important ceremonial site where

DAY 5 – MORAY AND THE MARAS SALT MINES
Today’s excursion reveals two remarkable sites that highlight the ingenuity of the Inca
civilisation.
Begin with a visit to Moray, an extraordinary archaeological complex composed of circular
agricultural terraces. These terraces functioned as an advanced agricultural laboratory where
the Incas experimented with crops and microclimates.
Continue to the breathtaking Maras Salt Mines, a dazzling patchwork of over three thousand
salt pools cascading down the mountainside. These salt pans have been used since pre-Inca

DAY 6 – THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS
After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin a full-day excursion to the breathtaking Sacred
Valley of the Incas, one of the most important regions of the ancient Inca Empire, known for
its fertile farmlands, picturesque traditional villages, and spectacular Andean landscapes.
Our first stop is the town of Pisac, where we will visit its traditional artisan market, famous for
its colorful textiles, ceramics, and handicrafts made by local communities. Afterward, we will
explore the Pisac archaeological site, located high in the mountains, from where you can

DAY 7 – MACHU PICCHU – back to Cusco
After breakfast, board the scenic train from the Sacred Valley to the charming village of Aguas
Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
Upon arrival, we will take a bus up a road surrounded by lush vegetation to the entrance of the
Inca citadel. This archaeological site, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern
World, is renowned for its extraordinary architecture and its breathtaking location nestled
between mountains and jungle.
During the guided tour, you will explore the most representative areas of the archaeological
complex, including the main plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, and the agricultural
terraces that were part of the Inca farming system. Throughout the tour, the guide will explain
the history, function, and cultural significance of this important sanctuary, built in the 15th
century.
After the tour, you will have free time to take photographs and enjoy the scenery surrounding

Day 8 – Excursion to Rainbow Mountain or Palcoyo
Very early in the morning, we will begin our excursion to one of the most impressive natural
wonders of the Andes: Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca. During the journey, we
will travel through high mountain landscapes where it is possible to observe small Andean
communities, herds of alpacas and llamas, as well as spectacular views of the mountain range.
After approximately three hours of travel in tourist transport, we will arrive at the starting
point of the hike. From there, we will embark on a moderate hike that will allow us to
appreciate the beauty of the Andean environment until we reach the viewpoint where we can
observe the mountain's characteristic natural colors, formed by the presence of different
minerals in the soil. From this point, you can take photographs and enjoy one of the most
emblematic landscapes of the Cusco region.
As an alternative for those who prefer a shorter and more accessible hike, you can also visit
Palcoyo, a group of multicolored mountains offering panoramic viewpoints and a gentler walk,
ideal for enjoying the scenery with less physical exertion.
At the end of the excursion, we will return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Very early in the morning we begin our journey to the southern coast of Peru, heading to the
Paracas Bay.
Here you will take a boat excursion to the famous Ballestas Islands, an impressive natural

Day 5 – Lake Titicaca: Uros & Taquile Islands
After breakfast at your hotel, we depart early towards the majestic Lake Titicaca, the highest
navigable lake in the world, considered a sacred place by Andean cultures.
During the navigation we will discover:
*Uros Islands – fascinating floating islands made of totora reeds, home to ancestral
communities who maintain their unique traditions and lifestyle
*Taquile Island – famous for its rich textile culture, recognised as an Intangible Cultural

Day 6 – Route of the Sun: Puno to Cusco

and traditional villages make each stop an unforgettable experience.
During the journey we will visit:

*La Raya Pass, the highest point of the route.

Day 8 – Sacred Valley: Maras, Moray & Andean Wedding Ceremony
After breakfast we travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a region of breathtaking landscapes

*Maras Salt Mines – spectacular salt terraces exploited since pre-Inca times

Day 9 – Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco
After breakfast, we will transfer to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, the

Upon arrival, we will take a guided ascent to the citadel, where we will explore its most
emblematic areas:
*Temple of the Sun, a ceremonial center of great importance to the Incas.
*Sacred Plaza, the spiritual and administrative heart of the citadel.
*Intihuatana, an astronomical stone used to mark solar events.
*Agricultural sector, with terraces that showcase the advanced Inca engineering.
After the visit, you will have free time for lunch and to enjoy the unique surroundings of
Machu Picchu before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, followed by your
transfer to Cusco.
