2-Day Visit to the Sacred Valley through Pisac and Machu Picchu

The next day prepare for an unforgettable experience in the majestic Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. After an early breakfast at the hotel, take the bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. There, an expert guide will take you on a detailed tour, revealing the secrets and history behind these ancient ruins. Enjoy free time to explore and take photographs before descending back to Aguas Calientes for a comforting lunch. Then, return by train to Ollantaytambo and finish the trip with a return transfer to Cusco.

Day 01: Sacred Valley of the Incas Full Day (Cusco – Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes) 7.30 pick up from the Hotel, and then begin our trip towards the sacred valley of the Incas, our first point of visit is the Pisac market where women from the Andean towns sell their textiles and agricultural products. Next, we will head to the impressive archaeological site of Pisac, known for its unique appeal. We will also explore the agricultural terraces and the largest Inca cemetery, which houses around 2000 tombs. You will have time to explore and capture photographs of this fascinating place. Then we will continue through the valley for approximately 45 minutes until we reach Urubamba, where we will delight in a succulent buffet lunch that reflects the exquisite variety of Cusco cuisine. After lunch, we will explore the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, famous for housing important Inca monuments. This archaeological center has an impressive Temple of the Sun and the Moon, as well as the Temple of the 10 Niches. The living Inca city exhibits narrow passages lined by water channels. To end the day, we will go to the Ollantaytambo station, where we will board the train to continue our trip to the town of Machu Picchu. When you arrive at the Aguas Calientes station, a representative from our travel agency will be waiting for you and will accompany you to your hotel. Accommodation in Aguas Calientes.

Breakfast at the hotel At the coordinated time we will transfer to the bus station, from where we will begin a trip of approximately 30 minutes to the citadel of Machu Picchu. During the Machu Picchu tour, you will enjoy a guided tour of around 2 hours. Our guide will lead you through the main structures of the Inca citadel, giving you information about the development of its stone constructions, full of mystery and energy. Afterwards, you will have free time to do activities on your own, such as ascending Huayna Picchu Mountain or walking to Puerta del Sol. At the agreed time, we will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, we will head back by train to Ollantaytambo and, from there, we will take a bus that will take us back to our hotel in Cusco.
